Business Intelligence Developer

Job Purpose

To manage customer analytics solutions including Database and BI Applications that turn data into knowledge and enhance our business intelligence system to enhance business performance and help Business make better decisions.

Functional Accountabilities:

• Develop business requirements, assess current reporting capabilities, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Work with end users to design and build complex reports in BI tools.
• Troubleshoot data issues found in existing reports Support and facilitate testing with end users.
• Build data sets (cubes, grids), metrics, and attributes to support report requests Analyze and build complex SQL queries.
• Design and manage underlying data sources to allow quick and efficient data extracts to support analysis.
• Develop the suitable analytics Logic to meet the business needs, support their decisions and enabling them to achieve competitive advantage.
• Participate in Implementing the BI strategy for Retail and Corporate in accordance with the company objectives.
• Coordinate and collaborate with company’s software suppliers to make recommendations and propose software products and services to support the business
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions in Data Warehouse, Data engineering, data reporting and advanced analytics
• Makes predictions about future outcomes using historical data combined with statistical modeling, data mining techniques and machine learning.
• measuring and analyzing data generated using mobile platforms for easy access to executive team.
• Implement the right advanced analytical dashboards to help for better decision making.
• Develop and update technical and Training documentations for proper support transition and handover.
• process gaps, data issues, and external interface issues.

Education

BSC in Computer Science, Engineering Degree, or very relevant field

Experience, Skills & Competencies

• Minimum of 1 year experience in BI.
• Exposure to the retail Industry is a Great advantage
• Good Knowledge in MicroStrategy
• Experience in tableau and PowerBI and/or other B.I tools.
• Very good knowledge in Business KPI’s, scorecards and dashboard visualization
• Good knowledge of SQL/PL SQL
• knowledge in Machine learning, python and data science implementing clustering, segmentation, and forecasting
