Job Purpose:
To ensure the service delivery targets of the DC are met by effective planning & management of resources and workloads whilst ensuring the company’s policies, ethics & core values are implemented successfully
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing the departmental KPI's & balance score card (BSC) to be met and achieved.
- Analyzing daily reports with emphasis on productivity, manpower and time utilization.
- Monitoring and controlling departmental costs through implementing measures to reduce damages, stock losses and other operating expenses.
- Guaranteeing a health & safety environment for the employees such as proper signage, uniforms, safety vest, safety shoes etc..
- Implementing daily briefings and weekly meetings with departmental employees to cascade departmental information applicable for the day and future plan to achieve company targets & goals.
- Taking the ownership towards internal and external customers services (deadlines)
- Self -imposed and delegated projects for business improvements
- Monitoring the Focus System to ensure that all issues of the stores are entertained / accommodated in order to have better Customer Satisfaction.
- Seasonal Planning (BTS, Ramadan, Mega & New Store Opening)
Skills
Education
- Bachelor Degree
Experience, Skills & Competencies
- 5-7 years’ experience in FMCG warehouse / distribution environment.
- Certificate / Diploma in Management Disciplines (e.g.: CRM).
- System knowledge (JDA and Manhattan)
- Good Communication skills, leadership and decision making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word)
- Strong knowledge in mathematical calculations.
