Core Network Operations Specialist

Job Purpose: 

To establishes and maintains network performance by building network configurations, connections and troubleshooting network problems to ensure high availability of the network and meet business objectives and SLAs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support to HQ and Warehouses by troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, escalating problems to vendor, and taking corrective action to resolves network infrastructure issues and incidents in sites as per agreed Service level agreement (SLA)
• Establish networking environment in HQ and warehouses by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
• Implement Network projects in adherence to timelines, track milestones related to assigned tasks and project to achieves business objectives.
• Serve as a technical specialist in network problems and emergencies, conducts technical research on network upgrades and components to determine feasibility, the time required, and compatibility with the current system.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on network hardware and software applications, troubleshoots malfunctions of network applications and security systems to ensures service continuity of all site locations.
• Serve as network administrator responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading Network components such as L2 & L3 switches. F5 Load balancer, Bluecoat and Palo Alto.
• Ensure that all given tasks are performed based on ITIL process and procedures.
• Participate in customer satisfaction surveys by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives in areas of improvement to maximize the costumer experience.

Experience, Skills & Competencies:

•  3+ years’ experience in related field
• Required Cisco CCNP Certification
• LAN Knowledge, Proxy Servers, Networking Knowledge, Network Implementation, Network Troubleshooting, Network Hardware Configuration, Vendor Relationships, Firewall, Wireless
