Dispatching Lead.E - Commerce - Fulfillment Operations

1.     Route Planning & Optimization:
Design and optimize delivery routes using routing software to ensure that deliveries are completed in the most time-efficient and cost-effective manner.

2.     Team Coordination:
Work closely with dispatchers, delivery drivers, and warehouse teams to ensure that the routing plan is executed smoothly and that drivers are aware of their assigned routes.

3.     Real-Time Route Adjustments:
Monitor live delivery progress and make real-time adjustments to routes to accommodate unexpected events such as traffic delays, customer changes, or other disruptions.

4.     Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze routing data and performance metrics, such as delivery times, fuel usage, and driver performance, to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance efficiency.

5.     Collaboration with IT & Systems Teams:
Collaborate with IT and systems teams to ensure that routing software and tools are functioning optimally, and to implement upgrades or new technologies that enhance routing performance.

6.     Cost Reduction Initiatives:
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives by optimizing routes, reducing fuel consumption, and improving driver productivity.

7.     Customer Satisfaction:
Ensure that routes are planned with customer satisfaction in mind, minimizing delivery windows and ensuring timely deliveries to enhance the customer experience.

8.     Driver Training & Development:
Provide training to drivers on route navigation, use of technology, and strategies for improving route efficiency.

9.     Compliance & Safety:
Ensure that all routes are planned in compliance with legal regulations, road safety standards, and company policies.

10.  Continuous Improvement:
Continuously assess and improve routing processes, leveraging technology and industry best practices to enhance operational performance.
