Job Purpose
Establish a superior marketing position & product offering, building retail innovations, leveraging opportunities to gain competitive advantages in the market. Responsible to communicate portfolio of category dynamics by store mission and type, idea generation & holistic planning, market exploitation, post launch assessment. Substantially contributing to ROI targets and Customer experiences. Build panda as the retailer of choice by creating shopping Destinations delivering promises to all customer segments, based on market trends & insights.
Job Responsibilities
Understand Industry dynamics & identify market opportunities
- Defining and analyzing consumer segmentation & competitor offering to capture market changes and deliver business development initiatives.
- Identifying market gaps and opportunities to improve consumer journeys and experiences
- Working closely with commercial, Shopper marketing, operations, and research to create integrated intelligence reports and learning.
New Concepts Development & Optimization
- Developing Concept and proposition, continuously feeding the funnel with new ideas.
- Co-managing shopping missions development and maintenance for panda categories in stores with cross functional executions with Commercial and Shopper Marketing.
- Managing the development and delivering of destination launch milestones.
- Selecting, Managing and briefing agencies and third-party companies to support business requirements.
- Inspiring the creative teams to produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
- Planning & executing campaigns for corporate promotion, launching of new product/service lines etc.
- Collaborating with CRM Loyalty and Customer care teams to personalize communications and offering improving effectiveness and driving differentiation.
Innovation Disrupters
- Introducing and cascade new retail innovations and communication SLAs (Service Level Agreements) workflow processes and project frameworks.
- Engineering and delivering the marketing building blocks for equity builders and innovation disrupter initiatives based on the retail innovations and best in class internationally and locally.
- Elevating business development of innovation planning and implementation standards through implementing proven processes
- Ensuring customer-orientated approach to all new implanted theory and practice mentioned above
- Designing, developing and launching marketing campaigns with 360 touchpoints.
Brand Strategy rollout
- Contributing to and executing the brand strategy with excellence to position Panda as the lead mass retailer in KSA.
- Manage and Integrate the different concepts created by department or by format to build and drive the overall Panda equity.
- Setting activity plans to deliver on initiatives that deliver the brand strategy.
- Launching 360 campaigns to build awareness and value propositions on concepts with maintenance initiatives across all touchpoints
Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Building relationships with all the key stakeholders in the leading vendors & channels
- Preparing quarterly & monthly reports on pre, during and post-performance on concepts to assess success.
- Collaborate with research team to measure impact of new concepts on brans imagery and impact on targeted consumers and community
- Closely monitoring sentiment trends (online and instore) and to ensuring relevance with customers.
Marketing Support
- Manage planned initiative spending to remain within project budget limitations
- Monitor and manage spending
- Ensure delivery of services and products on time and with excellence
- Integrate fully within the Commercial & Trade Marketing Divisions as 1 entity
- Strong presentation skills in preparation as well as delivery, able to convey messages visually and verbally in clear and concise visually appeal manner
- Generate Reports, whitepapers, FAQs, Presentations, Intelligence, Studies, Analyses, Assessments, Indexes, summaries, recommendations, feasibility studies, meetings, meeting minutes, Briefs, Request For Proposals RFPs, Memo of Understanding MOUs, Marketing reports, summaries, business cases & financial reports. Manage marketing blocks, budgets and plans effectively
المهارات
Education
Bacholer in Marketing,or Business Development, Masters degree prefarred
Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Experience in Business development, Negotiation, Digital Marketing, Media planning, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership, & Planning.
- 8+ years’ work experience, with latest roles as Head of Marketing/director preferably within FMCG/Retail industry
- Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals and define KPIs for success
- Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix and experience developing marketing strategies based on market segmentation
- Hight EQ with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
