Job Description

  • Ensure involvement and support of budget owner and finance on related matter.

  • Maintain change management, effective communication and stakeholders’ alignment are in place.
  • Ensure development and implementation of category strategies in close collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage risks related to assigned spend to a group of categories.
  • Convey periodic awareness of procurement roles to reflect a positive image of the added value.
  • Identify, procurement risks to enable the organization to meet its obligations and maximize business opportunity
  • Continuously improve practices within own team in compliance with the department policies and procedures
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate procurement risks to enable the organization to meet its obligations and maximize business opportunity validate
  • Ensure team compliance to corporate Procurement governance, regulations, policy and procedures and code of conduct for non-trade products and services related matter.
  • Analyze and take strategical decisions based on the generated analytical reports such for category spend, contracts status, supplier’s assessment, stakeholders need…. etc.
  • Contribute to the frequent improvement of processes, practices with corporate procurement to suite its customer’s needs.
  • Manage and direct a team of mangers
  • Create a healthy environment for teamwork, commitments, and individual accountability within own team.
  • Develop a winning-team competencies and share best practices and knowledge and encourage feedback to enhance performance
  • Guide innovative solutions to improve category performance
  • Identify development areas and ensure own team attending assigned training courses.
  • Certify change management, effective communication and stakeholders’ alignment are in place.
  • Convey periodic awareness of procurement roles to reflect a positive image of the added value.

المهارات

Education

  • University degree in Business Administration and or Engineering
  • Project Management certification is preferable

 

Experience, Skills & Competencies

 

  • Minimum 8+ years ’ experience in (Commercial/Contract Management/Sourcing )

 

 

  • Professional communication in English and Arabic

 

 

  • Knowledge of Retail business
