Product Specialist - Private Label

• Work closely with Commercial Category, PL Products developments and PL Strategic Sourcing team on pricing tiers associated with different PL items and brands tiers

• Develop new and innovative products through the product development process, from ideation & focus group research, to business specification, platform specifications, development and roll out

• Making helpful product recommendations

on-board new products sourced from current or new vendors and ensure all compliance needs are met

• Work with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Packaging, Food Safety) to develop packaging and labeling for each product.

• Work with regulatory team to ensure all products meet regulatory and food safety criteria

• Capture the unique “stories” of PL new launched and current products to share with Panda internal communications team

• Liaise with marketing and products team to incorporate customer feedback, buying patterns, and trends

• Analyzing the market opportunity and creating appropriate category development plans and provide suggestions to increase revenue and develop product margin.

• support the packaging design development process to ensure that all products match the Private Brand marketing guidelines

• Conduct informal product sampling to assist in product choice

• Conducting market research, which may include taking surveys, desktop research, and understanding product launches of rival companies.

• Support the coordination between products developments and planogram teams to ensure PL share of space

• Support the development of the GF and GNF products development road map with timely, financial and risk analysis.

Education

• Bachelor degree in BA Or MBA
