Job Purpose
The art manager is responsible for what advertisements look like. He is involved in creating a campaign that has an instant, positive impact on the consumer to promote the product, service or brand being advertised.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Brand Team to determine objectives, budget, background information, and presentation approaches, styles and techniques.
- Formulate basis layout design or presentation approached, and specify materials details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphics, animation video and sound
- Work on the graphic development for concept to executions to produce an effective advertising campaign
- Review and approve proofs of printed copy and art and copy materials developed by staff members
- Editing Final result and present final concept to Marketing Department
- Provide detailed direction to designers according to the agreed strategies for all brands
- Monitor develop design concepts into art layouts or who prepare layouts for printing
- Working closely with the designers and the in-house agency manager along with the Shopper marketing team to uplift the creative outcomes.
Skills
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in fine arts / Graphics
Experience, Skills & Competencies
- 3 Years of experience in related field
- Comprehensive computer photo-retouching and image development skills
- Mastered composition techniques (multiple elements and interactive pieces) in producing polished final pieces
- Color theory and color relationships
- Typographic terms that identify type form and the specification required to refer to typographic setting (i.e., points leading, picas, Kerning, tracking, cap-height, x-height etc.)
- Page composition and grid structures
- Print production process, knowledge of production techniques, and correct disking procedures
- Photography and the photographic process
- Detailed oriented
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Communicate through knowledge of FMCG Retail.
- Provide effective direction at photo shoots.
- Command respect of freelancers and designers and be able to effectively oversee and evaluate their work.
