Communication Assistant Manager

Job Description

Job Purpose

Detailed oriented person who is passionate about getting communication and messaging across in an effective manner to keep Panda team members informed, aligned, and engaged with all internal initiatives.

 

Functional Accountabilities

  • Develop high-quality English and Arabic communication content for the corporate channels internally and externally including but not limited to internal communication, corporate social media content, infographics, video content, flyers, etc.
  • Assist in leading the content of Panda Quarterly Newsletter ranging from announcing the collection of stories, communicating with cross-functional teams for stories, drafting the stories, and collaborating with an agency for the design.
  • Broadcast and publish internal communication announcements through different channels including email, Employee App, web-based FOCUS, and newsletter.
  • Manage AskCEO platform and produce monthly dashboard reports.
  • Implement internal communications and content calendar that drives employee’s engagement.
  • Participate in the management of the Internal Communication Application and manage its content and communication.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic communications plans for transformation programs with divisions to support division in planning/activation of communication activities.
  • Provide execution support for quarterly town halls, roadshows, and business update meetings.
  • Support in the implementation of the employee engagement surveys.
  • Facilitate the ongoing communication of Panda policies and other campaigns and projects.
  • Drive special internal communication projects as needed.

Skills

Education

BA/BS degree in communications, English, public relations, marketing, or journalism

 

Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • 3-4 years minimum years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or marketing field
  • Advanced translation skills from English into Arabic and vice versa
  • Familiarity with all aspects of communications, with particular emphasis on internal communication and employee engagement
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Strong storytelling ability to source stories from departments/employees.
  • Advance interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented, multitasking skills
  • Experience developing effective internal initiatives from ideation through execution.
  • Trusted in handling confidential communications and sensitive Information
