Job Description

Job Purpose

A strong communicator, self-motivated team player responsible for creating, implementing, and developing strategies of charity and community programs and able to manage organizational change, implement and execute communication plans to support business goals and organizational transformation initiatives which will impact our people, process, and local communities.

 

Functional Accountabilities

  • Develop, Manage, and lead in Implementing integrated corporate communication plans for the company’s strategic and transformational initiatives and work closely with other internal stakeholders to meet company’s overall objectives.
  • Lead specific communications action plans, timelines, and defined deliverables to support shaping Panda culture.
  • Lead, collaborate, and review communications drafted by internal stakeholders and make recommendations to ensure messaging is consistent.
  • Lead the implementation of the employee engagement surveys to identify cultural issues across the business and implement series of initiatives to reduce the gaps.
  • Develops and leads an effective CSR programs and sustainability strategy including environment, workplace, and community initiatives that will deliver agreed CSR targets.
  • Design, lead, and manage integrated strategic charity and community programs to build company’s ongoing commitment in becoming a more sustainable, environmentally friendly and socially responsible company and ensure benefiting the local communities as well as the Company objectives.
  • Manage communications of all Community Relations activities internally and externally and reach out to the public via PR and marketing campaigns to communicate business ethics, CSR performance, and the company’s commitment to social responsibility.
  • Establish charity partnership programs, maintain an ongoing relationship with the charities, and ensure regular meetings take place.
  • Establish a mechanism and strategy to engage employees and establish a network of CSR Champions or steering groups within the organization.
  • Develop an annual CSR report and documents that provides clear direction on strategy, delivery, and performance.
  • Participate in recognized international and local awards with stakeholders and attend relevant industry events.
  • Act as Panda’s main point of contact with Savola CSR Committee and Savola World Company.
  • Assist the team in implementing other cultural programs and initiatives.

Skills

Education

  • BA/BS degree in communications, English, public relations, marketing, or journalism

 

Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Minimum of 6 to 7 years’ experience in corporate communications and CSR within a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience managing CSR programs.
  • Experience in implementing change management Plans and initiatives.
  • Confident and able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity.
  • Exceptional writing and communications skills.
  • Ability to embrace and take ownership of projects.
  • Strong time management and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business heads and department leaders.
  • Excellent administration and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented, multitasking skills a cross-functional.
  • Ability to priorities and manage own workload effectively but also to be flexible and adapt/respond to emerging issues, short deadlines and other demands or challenges.
