• Utilize the Transportation Management System (Assure) to assign deliveries and create delivery schedules, ensuring adherence to the established routing and delivery schedule.
• Build daily comprehensive route plans with store sequencing to minimize lead time and optimize delivery efficiency.
• Record all deliveries, including backload deliveries, accurately in the system to maintain reliable data and track performance metrics.
• Optimize fleet utilization by efficiently managing in-transit trucks for backload deliveries from suppliers, reducing waiting time.
• Apply driver incentives during delivery and record running KM in TMS on daily basis to have better fleet spending.
• Ensure driver availability aligns with delivery schedules to facilitate on-time order delivery.
• Collaborate with the Outbound team to obtain floor counts for ready-to-load orders, ensuring optimal truck and fleet utilization.
• Open and close all trips through TMS to maintain accurate records and provide visibility into operations.
• Generate and deliver timely reports to the line manager, providing comprehensive insights into operational performance.
• Follow up with drivers and stores to ensure timely offloading of shipments.
• Rotate drivers among regions to ensure fairness and equal distribution of workload.
• Responsible to assign Yard Controller to optimize vehicle parking and loading efficiency.
• Report and address any truck breakdowns or rescue requests promptly.

Education

Diploma in SC, Logistics, MIS, Business, or Equivalent.

Experience, Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant field.
• Good English skills in reading and writing.
• Computer skills specially in MS Office.
• Good knowledge about TMS, WMS, is a plus.
• Time management skills.
• Strong communication & follow up skills.
