Job Description
- Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure that appropriate controls are deployed for the accuracy of the general ledger.
- Ensure timely reporting of monthly result of Savola Group.
- Monitor and review monthly accruals and ensure its accuracy and appropriateness.
- Provide appropriate accounting information to various departments when needed and assist them in general ledger issues and queries.
- Support statutory audit team on internal and external audit.
- Complete various assignments given by the Head of Financial Accounting.
- Managing up to six team members at a time and providing them with on the job training and coaching as and when required.
Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance or Economics or equivalent professional qualification
Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar capacity
- Financial and analytical skills
- English & preferably Arabic proficiency
- Microsoft Office & Oracle
