Job Description

  • Determine emerging market dynamics, competitive threats, retail growth drivers, and customers trends to identify key opportunities and risks for Panda
  • Decode and activate implicit, irrational, and unconscious customer insights to discover business opportunities, drive customer focus, and action growth strategies

  • Identify and define business issues and provide holistic solutions ensuring customer insights are the foundation of our business strategy and execution

  • Apply integrative thinking to draw conclusions across varied data sets and experiences bring to bear data analytics, human insights, and behavioral sciences transforming them into business insights/ opportunities that are conveyed effectively to drive actions with key business partners

  • Ensure our plans are robust enough to reach our customers effectively with the right messages bring to bear all channels available and reaching them when they are more receptive making the most out our marketing investments and driving our brand's equity

  • Act as an internal, active and influential business strategy consultant, whose role is to ensure that customer insights are the foundations of our business strategy and execution

  • Be part of a multi-functional business team, working closely with Marketing, Commercial and other related functions, constantly exploring new opportunities for business growth

  • Build positive relationship with research agencies to understand needs and desire of customers

Skills

  • 10 years Market Research and Data Science experience preferred in retail business and in Saudi
  • Experience across majority of below areas:

  • Defining vision for 1-1 marketing at scale

  • Defining and bringing holistic consumer data strategy to life. Experience with using data as a strategic choice for the business to identify use cases to build the business and fill gaps in data, processes, and systems to realize the value

  • Building and operationalizing end to end CRM strategy

  • Experience working in eCommerce and understanding online fundamentals needed to win. Building digital tools to enable eCommerce business to win

  • Deep understanding of programmatic ad technology space

  • In depth knowledge of digital marketing levers including performance marketing on social, SEO, and paid search strategies. Ability to analyse and optimize entire path to purchase with strong experience in Google Analytics

  • Experience building consumer facing apps and websites that are used by millions

  • Be a voice in the industry to shape the external ecosystem

  • Great verbal and written communication skills – experience in interacting with functions and clients

  • Be creative and relentless problem-solver using analytics skills, business acumen alongside leadership

  • Turn insights into actionable recommendation, presenting actionable recommendation and drive actions to business value creation

  • Collaborate actively and effectively with other functions partners and senior management to accomplish project objectives

  • Provide ongoing consultancy to business partners
  • Provide analysis-related trainings to colleagues/other teams
