Accountabilities:
Maximizing value for money & Improve cash flows:
- Define buying plans with internal clients to deliver and improve value Improvement objectives
- Deliver best value to the business via developing strong supply base and leveraging the Panda scale.
- Negotiate and challenge suppliers’ quality, price, service, MOQ, lead-times & payment terms to generate best value for money.
- Add value to the business through challenging and clarifying specifications with client groups.
- Proactively recommend and drive efficiencies across the business stakeholders, follow through & work with cross functional units till the successful implementation
Minimizing business Risks by ensuring full adherence of PL co-manufacturers to Panda and industry standards and eliminating supply disturbance
- Develop sourcing strategy for critical SKUs to ensure continuous and sustainable supply
- Set Guidelines of approach for Supply Agreements & SLA negotiations/renewals for all PL suppliers / co-manufactures
- Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring PL sources service and cost
- Develop a flexible, long term suppliers’ network able to meet current and anticipated future opportunities
- Manage & develop the relationship with key suppliers / co-manufacturers to resolve any disputes that may arise during the contractual period.
- Ensure TQA (Total Quality assurance) implementation in coordination with QA Team to ensure all the relevant information are captured.
- Support in the Product Development Launch plans in alignment with PL products development team & internal stakeholders to meet business goals
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance to company buying process as well as continuously recommend process improvements to be able to achieve proper control on all buying activities & eliminate non-value-added activities
- Ensure compliance with Panda Standard ordering process (issue on time forecast PO till invoice Payment) in order to maintain the right controls to the buying process
Develop team capabilities
- Coach and develop the capabilities of his/her direct reports
- Hold frequent discussions with his direct reports to ensure progress of their development plans.
- Ensures cross functional alignment of the PL sourcing objectives with key stakeholders
- Setting the example for the ethics and values of the business and demonstrate cultural sensitivity with high personal visibility throughout the company
Skills
Education
-Bachelor’s Degree in business or Engineering
Experience, Skills & Competencies
-Minimum 10 years’ experience in sourcing / co-manufacturing
-Solid skills in contract negotiations, supplier management/evaluation and sourcing spend analysis.
-Strategic planning and Creative problem-solving techniques
-Strong supply chain understanding and focus
-Driven communication and presentation skills with the ability to network and influence people
