Job Purpose
Key role in ensuring that the BUs achieves its desired strategic and business objectives through management of Key Panda suppliers. The Supplier Manager serves as the primary interface for Supplier relationships; strengthening strategic relationships and ensuring strategic alignment. They facilitate, optimize, and manage all aspects of the relationship between BUs and Key Panda Suppliers.
Job Responsibilities
• Develops and maintains successful relationships with Suppliers.
• Jointly work with the BUs to determine specific Suppliers to target.
• Manages the investigation and resolution of Suppliers issues and risks and maintains communications with all affected parties until resolved.
• Acts as a center of excellence for Supplier Management best practices.
• Acts as the central contact for all internal and external contact for all inquiries about Suppliers.
• Leads the development and implementation of strategy plans for increasing Suppliers engagement and alignment.
• Handles all escalations in a professional manner and ensures superior customer service.
• Regularly evaluates and assesses suppliers' relationships, based on ongoing needs, to ensure continued participation
Skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or other related field required ; Master’s degree preferred
Experience, Skills & Competencies
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business operations and relationship management with achievements; Commercial experience preferred
• In-depth understanding of company key suppliers and their position in the market
