Job Purpose:
The Inventory Control Specialist will Lead Inventory Control reporting and analytics automation; in order to streamline day-to-day activities while Managing the system part of Inventory Control, will be responsible to analyze; detecting, investigating & identifying corrective/preventive action and tracking on stock related activities in order to safeguard company inventory, minimize the risks associated with inventory loss.
Functional Accountabilities:
• Manage with the IT the infrastructure for data flow related to Inventory Control
• Design, develop, and maintain all the needed reports and dashboards of the Inventory Control department, which facilitate day-to-day activities as well as cross-functional integration with other departments.
• Partner with the IT team to ensure data availability & integrity 24/7
• Document all equations, ways of calculations, and data sources of developed reports, scorecards, and dashboards.
• Track KPIs of Inventory Control & Governance function and circulate the related reports/dashboards to the concerned individuals/Depts.
• Ensure data accuracy, validity, and visibility across CIC Department.
• Analyze Stock Loss results and facilitate recovery from different sources.
• Drive overall stock accuracy by Delivering Stock Count Plan/Schedule that guides IST and SWAT activities.
• Develop unplanned & ad-hoc inventory stock take schedule to help guide the inventory stock take team & SWAT team
• Monitor cycle count to identify abnormal activities, communicate, investigate, and follow up.
• Analyze the final stock take the result to identify any kind of discrepancies, Wrong count, repeated patterns, high-value variances/adjustments
• Monitor daily inventory adjustments and results to drive SWAT ad-hoc visits
• Continuous examination Goods In-Transit between locations (DC and Stores).
• Resolve Inventory issues and system discrepancies between store and DC or DC to DC to avoid Loss ( RTW, RA, D&E, Auto Receive, Operation Process)
• Monitors usage of inventory write off provisions; credit notes, Ullage & BDF.
• Open & track tickets for necessary investigations according to findings and reported cases.
• Identify root causes of Inventory loss; highlight and address inventory inaccuracies and discrepancies to be resolved in timely manner
• Sender’s Loss every end of the Month and end of the year.
• React on daily alerts and notifications for exceptional value recorded in SIM such as DSD Receiving, Dumping, RTV, RTW, and Refund & Voids.. etc
• Extract stock adjustment data belonging to DC and Central Bakery. Monitor stock movements and wrong entries. Fix abnormal entries with stakeholders.
• Facilitate inventory signing off with DETOX and items under liquidation such as RTC and Unlocked Items. Monitors the inventory positions and recommends store-to-store transfer aligning Operations to clear the stocks.
• Manage My Service Tickets, validate the request of services, and facilitate the required approval in case of wrong entries. Facilitate the corrective action (including the Internal Memo) whenever necessary and resolve the ticket either by the owner or by SCS.
Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, finance, or any other related field.
Experience, Skills & Competencies:
• Minimum 2 years of Retail experience, related work experience in managing inventories
• Excellent verbal and written communication delivers clear, effective presentations
• Strong collaboration skills
• High Ability to analyze data and metrics to create actionable items for leaders to optimize and implement.
• Details-oriented & extreme accuracy is needed.
• Strong, demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Power BI & SQL.
• Ability to work under pressure and still maintain an ideal disposition toward work
• English language required
