Job Purpose
The key account manager is responsible for handling the most important supplier accounts in Panda. These accounts make up the highest percentage of company business , he/she must build and maintain a strong relationship with those suppliers. He/She will be the lead point of contact for all key supplier matters, anticipate the supplier’s needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the supplier are met, and help the supplier succeed.
Job Responsibilities
• Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key suppliers and Panda.
• Resolving key suppliers issues and complaints.
• Developing a complete understanding of key account needs.
• Anticipating key account changes and improvements.
• Managing communications between key Suppliers and internal teams.
• Strategic planning to improve suppliers results.
• Negotiating with BU team contracts with the Key Suppliers and establishing a timeline of performance.
• Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the supplier.
• Working with category management team, Marketing , SC , Ops & Finance to ensure all supplier needs met based on company standards .
• Planning and presenting reports on account progress with team members & stakeholders.
• Meeting all suppliers needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines.
Skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field; Master’s degree preferred
Experience, Skills & Competencies
Experience: Minimum of 4 to 5 years’ previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience; Commercial experience preferred
In-depth understanding of company key suppliers and their position in the market
