Job Description

Functional Accountabilities:

  • Assisting Litigation Manager in carrying out and following up all legal burdens transferred by the company to legal Department.
  • to know all defense lines and aspects when, proceeding to defend the company.
  • Experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents and make ensure that, all legal memos, appeals and letters draft are ready and to be approved by the litigation manager before its submission date to the relevant courts or public authorities.
  • Monitor legal risk in documentation and giving guidance on the acceptable assumption of risk.
  • Interpret Laws, rulings and regulations and explain the law and give legal advice for Client.
  • Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before documents are executed.
  • maintain all files of cases and to make sure all documents and legal letter are saved.
  • Identify legal or contractual issues and develop new approaches to resolve complex issues
  • Offer legal representation at arbitration or mediation and attends settlement conferences, trials, appellate arguments, and other scheduled matters on cases in litigation to take notes.
  • Prepare pleadings, notices and make appearances in court.
  • Prepares a complete summary and evaluation of the case for presentation to his report Line as the case maybe for further assessment to deliver an administrative decision to proceed a settlement process or not.
  • Ensures the integrity of all Division’s litigation data. Records and documents all litigation activities, relevant communications and interfaces with the Company provides trend reporting and weekly statistics on cases in litigation to the Litigation Manager.
  • To develop legal knowledge and to keep in touch with the new laws, regulations, and their amendments. and to ensure full compliance with all.
  • Deliver legal opinion and consultation required to the requesters and stakeholders.
  • Conduct legal research and gather evidence and keeps current on all rules and regulations by accessing statutes, legislative materials manuals, and websites.
  • Submitting legal advice to all organization’s departments and sections.
  • Extracting CRs and extracting CRs and any other License related to the Company.
  • Manage and oversee paralegals and assistant Lawyers.
  • Work closely with staff to prepare a comprehensive brief on each case that goes to trial

 

Skills

 

  • Aware of KSA laws and Rules, customs & traditions
  • Admitted Attorney of at least two years standing.
  • Minimum of three (3) years working experience in corporate/Law firm Saudi Arabic.
  • Native Arabic language
  • Medium to advance English Language speaking, writing, reading, listening
  • Comfortable dealing with numbers
  • Ability to work solely and as a team-work member.
  • Computer skills and System enhancement

  • A working knowledge of Company law claim values and jurisdictional issues for Maryland
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Robust skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Demonstrate good drafting and negotiation skills both in Arabic.
  • Experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
  • Natural leader who displays sound judgment and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work efficiently under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and work with business representatives at all levels of seniority.
