Job Description
Functional Accountability:
- Develop the capital projects delivery plans with the required accuracy and tracking tools.
- Facilitates the collection of capital project requirements, objectives, and expectations, and clearly communicates this information to project teams.
- Responsible to complete all assigned capital projects on time and within the approved Budget
- Responsible to review all drawings and submitting with projects members.
- Responsible to manage and coordinate any change requests and communicate any incidents.
- Manage all assigned project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures
- Responsible to manage and deliver the assigned tasks to the service provider and the project members.
- Accountable to ensure that all assigned capital projects vital information is recorded in electronic and their original hard copy.
- Responsible to manage and maintain assigned capital project files are updated and completed with all contracts, submittals, drawings, invoices …etc.
- Contribute to organizational business and budget planning process when requested
- Responsible to lead assigned project reviews and coordinate the approvals process
- Responsible to follow the process and procedures of Capital Projects FRAMEWORK
- To provide expert advice, counsel and recommendations on matters related to projects execution when requested
- To monitor delivery of service to ensure compliance with contracts and service agreement
- Responsible to represent the organisation in an honest, Ethical, and professional way and set an example for others to follow
- Responsible to act and report any breaches of rules, policies, and guidelines
- Accountable to Monitor performance against standards and take timely corrective actions
Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or Architectural Engineering is a must
- Project management certified is a must
Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Min 3 years hands-on experience in construction projects management
- Thorough knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, and other project-related activities, including their interfaces and interdependence.
- Strong in managing various projects in parallel
- Strong commitment to all safety and health rules, procedures and guidelines.
- Possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- English and Arabic language (Written & Spoken)
- Strong Computer skills (MS Office, Microsoft project and Auto cad)
- Ability to set personal and project priorities and be highly organised
- Leadership and the ability to mentor and extract the highest potential from supporting staff
