Job Description
- Ensure a consistent, timely, high-impact, and accurate representation of Panda in the media, working directly with regional press and third party PR teams to engage local media
- Lead the development and implementation of end-to-end PR strategy for KSA market that will drive domain authority and retain Panda positioning
- Support PR campaigns designed to showcase the people, culture, and operations behind Panda
- Develop and manage digital and social PR content initiatives for various channels and markets, to achieve business objectives
- Identify opportunities for us to inject our voice and perspective
- Develop and manage relationships with a range of media contacts as well as third party organizations and advocates
- Research & integrate industry news, data, trends/compelling angles into PR programs
- Create and direct crises management plan and ensure objective and agile execution to minimize risk on panda.
- Write and edit across a wide range of assignments such as press releases, bylined articles, media pitches, executive talking points, blog and social media posts.
- Work cross-functionally across the business and marketing teams
- Support the mechanisms, processes, and measurement of campaigns
- Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges, both proactively and reactively
- Willingness to represent Panda as a spokesperson
- Predict, size, mitigate and address crises by working with agencies and internal stakeholders
- Establish and manage relationships with regional non-profits, advocacy groups, and other organizations that align with our mission and strengthen our reputation.
- Oversee a team of subject matter experts in creating compelling and effective content; ensure clarity, consistency, and quality of content across a variety of communication forms and channels.
- Develop Influencer engagement strategy and align key business stakeholders
- Coordinate with CSR to develop and deliver initiatives/campaigns supporting panda with the community.
- Manage a regional communications budget.
Periodic business travel may be required. - Deliver ad-hoc tasks, projects, or initiatives assigned by leadership in the company
Skills
- Minimum of 8 years of communications experience, preferably with national brands
- Master’s degree in Communication, or Media Management
- Experience driving proactive press coverage rooted in complex issues
- Combination of in-house and agency PR experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Good understanding of digital and social media and roles pertaining large organizations
- Experience being a spokesman representing a firm
- Creativity and the ability to develop fresh ideas to accomplish objectives.
