Job Purpose
To support and execute Infrastructure strategy for IT department through multiple multi-vendor (i.e. HR, Windows, Oracle) platform products to ensure necessary resources are provided for achieving business needs in coordination with Infrastructure Operations Manager.
Job Responsibilities
1. To perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, resource optimization, CPU & memory readjustment by using monitoring tools like VMM, Onboard administrative console (ILO) to ensure full business optimization.
2. To install new, rebuild existing servers, and configure hardware, peripherals, services, and settings, directories, setting storage in accordance with project standards and operational requirements to ensure on time projects server delivery.
3. To coordinate with windows Infrastructure lead to maintain group policies, and implement best practices by standardization of active directory for site and region to avoid inconsistency and maintain integrity.
4. To monitor periodically server’s performance indicators through standard monitoring tool like Orion, SolorWinds to improve availability and integrity of business application.
5. To monitor required services of exchange server and liaising with operation team through exchange and office-365 consoles to ensure correct email flow and continuous support all business functions
6. To perform timely disaster recovery procedure affecting the stability of data center operations through RPO and RTO disaster recovery planning and ensure business continuity
7. To resolve ticket raised by users through Panda Incident Management System by using remote application like Cisco Jaber & VNC according to predefined SLA to resolve issues in timely manner
Skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree major in Computer Science or related fields
Experience, Skills & Competencies
• 5 - 10 years of IT experience
• Technical certifications (ITIL, MRCE etc.)
• Administration skills in Exchange Server
• Good understanding in virtualization systems like Hyper-V
• Operating System knowledge
• The ability to support users, analyze requirements
• Oral and written communication skills
