Job Description
Job Purpose
Initiating, aligning, documenting, and monitoring supply chain continuous improvement plans, in addition to coordinating supply chain internal and cross-functional projects. The role aims to standardize the business activities across all supply chain functions and eliminate non-value-adding steps.
Job Accountabilities
- Align with supply chain functions on targeted processes, initiate the schedule, and agree on the year plan.

- Capture the detailed activities of each process, map the process, and create the associated SOP.
- Coordinate and align with all stakeholders, including the external functions for the cross-functional processes.
- Obtain approvals of related Managers, Heads, Directors, VPs/Chiefs on each created process, using the proper communication channels.
- Review the processes in relation to their standard review date, update them to meet the most recent business practices, and follow the standard approval process, up to authorization.
- Keep weekly updates of authorized processes reporting as well as tracking of processes documentation progress.
- Archive authorized process and related original documents on the supply chain shared folder.
- Collaborate with Corporate Governance department to report supply chain authorized processes.
- Review supply chain activities and processes to detect associated disconnects and cooperate with the related teams to figure out and execute proper resolutions.
- Lead supply chain improvement initiatives and coordinate with stakeholders to fulfill required achievements.
- Coordinate assigned supply chain projects across all supply chain functions as well as related external functions.
- Build the requested project plans, follow up on the activities with the stakeholders, report the project progress, and document the project closure as well as needed approvals.
- Assist in documentation of supply chain dashboards, reports and KPIs and ensure synergy with related SOPs.
Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, engineering, management, business administration, science, or information system.
- 0-2 years business-related experience.
- Ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical & critical thinking abilities.
- Details oriented and extreme accuracy is needed.
- Ability to realize the full picture and articulate thoughts.
- Structured mindset and outstanding organizational skills.
- Strong business writing skills.
- Excellent verbal & writing communication skills. Excellent time-management skills.
- Proactivity and ability to lead without authority.
- Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams & Excel) and Tableau.
- Language (both English and Arabic).
