Technical Product Manager - Private Label

• The Technical Product Manager is responsible to support product development team in setting an overall product strategy. Their job is to clearly articulate the business value to the product developments team, so they can clear the intent behind the new product or product release. The Technical Product Manager owns the development of the PL Products Specs along with Head of products developments and prioritize building what matters most to achieve the strategic PL goals and initiatives behind the range of product

• The role is vital for implementing the growth strategy of Private Label in all technical products evolvement and development while ensure that ideas implemented are in alignment with the overall corporate strategy.

• Lead and develop Health and Nutritional claims strategy for all current and future range of food and associated non-food products

• Lead cost initiatives for assigned categories to develop products margin through specs development

• Lead with Head of products developments the building of the GF and GNF products development road map with timely, financial and risk analysis

• Conduct research in areas including food regulation and process validations

• Work closely with Commercial Category, PL Products developments and PL Strategic Sourcing team on pricing tiers associated with different PL items and brands tiers based on different products specs

• Develop new and innovative products through the product development process, from ideation & focus group research to business specification, platform specifications, development and roll out

• Making helpful product recommendations for on-board new products sourced from current or new vendors and ensure all compliance needs are met

• Lead and closely work with regulatory team to ensure all products meet regulatory and food safety criteria

• Conduct informal product sampling to assist in product choice

• Conducting market research, which may include taking surveys, desktop research, and understanding product launches of rival companies.

• Support decision making regarding activating or deactivating PL items as per technical performance.

• Provide Commercial and Quality team with technical support to help resolve supplier issues and non-conformance.

• Review and sign-off specifications

Education

• Bachelor degree in BA Or  MBA
