Windows System Administrator

Job Purpose

To manage and deploy windows Infrastructure and Microsoft platform products to ensure necessary  resources are provided for achieving business needs and operational SLAs are met

Functional Accountabilities:

• To monitor, manage DR drills, and control business applications through resource utilization, monitoring server performance and operations to avoid bottlenecks and ensure all equipment are working in best optimal conditions.
• To coordinate with multiple vendors for routine and periodical maintenance of windows platform and negotiate new solutions to structure contracts and secure cost effective services.
• To supervise and maintain Exchange Server through office 365, global support, and on-premise ECP to ensure correct email flow and continuous support to all business functions
• To implement quality control procedure through SSL and Symantec Brightmail to ensure full compliance with service level agreement (SLA) and IT governance department to avoid phishing and external attack.
• To assists the team with raised tickets through remote Applications like VNC and Cisco Jaber to resolve business reported incidents.
• To provide the necessary training, knowledge transfer by coaching and conducting training sessions for windows team
• To monitor and validate backup restoration process periodically through networker client and associate with backup Admin to ensure data protection and backup integrity is intact

Education

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant fields

Experience, Skills & Competencies

• 6-9 years of strong IT experience.
• Advanced technical and managerial certifications (ITIL, MCSC, PMP, etc.)
• In-depth technical knowledge of participation in Exchange, Virtualization, projects, and platforms (Windows, HP…)
• Properly implement a disaster recovery plan (RTO, RPO)
• Highly skilled in IT service management (Delivery and support)
