بدأت رحلة بنده من متجر صغير وسط مدينة الرياض حتى أصبحت أحد أكبر تجار التجزئة في المملكة.

في أواخر السبعينات من القرن الماضي تحديداً عام 1978 تم افتتاح أول أسواق بنده في مدينة الرياض؛ لتصبح أحد أهم التجار في قطاع البيع بالتجزئة في المملكة السعودية. في عام 1994، اندمجت شركة بنده مع شركة العزيزية لتصبح بمسمى العزيزية بنده المتحدة. وبعدها في عام 1998، استحوذت مجموعة صافولا، الشركة الغذائية الرائدة في مجال البيع بالتجزئة، على شركة العزيزية بنده المتحدة؛ لتُحدث قفزة في التوسع والنمو.

في عام 2001، حازت بنده على أكبر حصة تجارية في قطاع التجزئة السعودي وتحقيق رقماً قياسياً جديداً في جودة الأداء وتجاوزت خطة رأس المال المستهدف وهو 8 مليارات ريال سعودي.

Job Purpose - Drive and monitor performance to develop sales and profitability - Drive the Defined Fresh strategic initiatives implemntations - Ensure the implementation of good practices and compliance with procedures. Functional Accountabilities - Perform periodical store visits to spot all areas of improvement and compliance to standards - Performe continuous coaching and extend support to stores’ associates - Provide periodical assessement & technical on job training to enhance stores’ staff skills - Design the required tools and modules that improving the staff knowledge and awerness, raising their capabilities to meet the company turn around projects - Act as a Key player for fresh department to bridge the gap between operations, Commercial, Supply chain & Quality - Product innovation (including conversions, new recipes and adding new products) - Monitor the store’s Fresh performance including sales, sales mix, margin, waste, days cover and audit scores and provide Guidance, action plans & solutions to improve performance - Responsible for new initiatives/projects implementations - Provide weekly insights on competitors’ & Market activities & Prices - Act as a subject matter expert for new item introduction in term of quality, Plano-Guide/Plano-gram as well as the implementation plans to ease and lead the execution effectively - Provide/report feedback on lack of resources as per agreed plan

Planner.Maintenance - West

Job Purpose: The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of all equipment and facilities across the stores. The role ensures optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and resources while minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining cost control. Key Responsibilities: Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain the Preventive Maintenance (PPM) plan for all assets (HVAC, electrical, fire systems, civil works, cold rooms, etc.). Prepare detailed weekly and monthly maintenance schedules in coordination with operations and maintenance teams. Ensure all planned jobs have the necessary materials, tools, and manpower before execution. Work Order & Job Management: Review incoming work requests, verify scope, and prioritize based on urgency and impact on operations. Create, assign, and monitor work orders in the CMMS system to ensure timely completion. Track job progress and close work orders upon confirmation of completion and quality verification. Procurement & Spare Parts Control: Create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for required spare parts, tools, and materials. Coordinate with the procurement and warehouse teams to follow up on spare parts delivery and ensure timely availability. Maintain a record of critical spare parts and ensure sufficient stock levels to support preventive and emergency maintenance. Resource Coordination: Coordinate technician assignments based on workload, skill level, and store priority. Liaise with contractors and suppliers to schedule specialized services as required. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Ensure full compliance with the approved PPM schedule Analyze maintenance trends and recommend improvements to enhance asset reliability and reduce breakdowns. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment downtime. Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPI) such as MTTR, MTBF, and schedule compliance. Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and feedback to management. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance works are executed in compliance with safety standards and Civil Defense regulations. Support periodic inspections, audits, and certification renewals as required.
