Jop Purpose
The Routing Lead is responsible for planning, configuring, and optimizing last-mile delivery routes to ensure efficient order fulfillment, on-time delivery performance, and optimal utilization of delivery resources. The role supports daily last-mile operations by translating demand, capacity, and service requirements into effective routing plans, monitoring route performance, and addressing routing exceptions to minimize delays and operational inefficiencies. Through data-driven analysis and close coordination with dispatch and delivery teams, the role contributes to improved customer experience, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement of E-Commerce last-mile operations.

Plan daily delivery routes for last-mile orders to optimize travel distance, delivery windows, and rider capacity.

Configure routing parameters within routing systems to ensure alignment with service level agreements and operational constraints.

Coordinate route assignments with dispatch and delivery teams to ensure balanced workloads and on-time execution.

Monitor route performance against KPIs such as on-time delivery, distance variance, and drop density to identify improvement opportunities.

Analyze delivery data to identify routing inefficiencies and recommend adjustments that enhance speed, cost efficiency, and customer experience.

Validate route changes based on real-time conditions (traffic, order volume, rider availability) to minimize delays and re-routing risks.

Support issue resolution related to routing exceptions by coordinating with last-mile operations and customer support teams.

Maintain routing documentation including routing rules, assumptions, and exception logs to ensure consistency and operational clarity.

Provide operational insights to the Last Mile Assistant Manager through regular performance summaries and improvement suggestions.
Skills Description
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in last-mile logistics, route planning, dispatch, or delivery operations. Hands-on experience with routing systems, delivery management platforms, and operational data analysis is preferred.
